As the founder and executive director of Bullyid App, Agita Pasaribu participated in the fourth ASEAN Youth Fellowship program. Held in both Singapore and Jakarta, the program lasted for four days and included 45 young leaders from the region, including Agita.
Members of the fellowship participated in a series of seminars, dialogues, and fireside chats that explored trends and innovations in the areas of social resilience, technology for good, mental health and wellbeing, and the role ASEAN youths can play in addressing challenges together to bring positive, long-term impact to their collective future. They also had the opportunity to interact with prominent thought leaders from diverse sectors, including senior public office holders namely the Singaporean Minister for Health, Ong Ye Kung, and the Indonesian Minister for Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, Nadiem Anwar Makarim.
“The AYF programme has been such an eye-opening experience for me. I am inspired by the energy and passion of my peers to make sustainable changes to the future of ASEAN,” said Agita. “I have also learned that it is important for Indonesian youths to build regional networks for us to make a greater impact. I look forward to future collaborations with other Fellows from across the region.”
