At Bullyid App, our mission is to create a safer and more inclusive digital world for everyone. We are proud to have collaborated with the Internet Society’s Online Safety Special Interest Group (SIG) in the development and publication of the Global Online Safety Benchmark 2025, a first-of-its-kind initiative that defines how nations and organizations can measure and improve online safety outcomes worldwide.
The Global Online Safety Benchmark introduces a comprehensive framework for assessing national readiness and progress in key online safety domains — including child protection, digital literacy, cybersecurity, and the prevention of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).
As a key collaborator, we have contributed evidence and policy insights from our ongoing work across Asia and beyond, particularly in addressing cyber harassment (TFGBV) and advancing safety-by-design principles in technology and policymaking.
Key Highlights from the Benchmark:
- Defines measurable indicators to track online safety maturity.
- Promotes multi-stakeholder collaboration among civil society, governments, and industry.
- Aligns with global digital policy frameworks.
- Advocates for human-centered, culturally sensitive approaches to online safety.
This collaborative effort is a milestone in creating an actionable global framework for safer online ecosystems. At Bullyid App, we remain committed to building digital environments that protect and empower individuals — especially women, children, and vulnerable communities.
