Young Global Changers is an annual program that identifies, connects, supports, and uplifts young people from around the world advocating for positive change. Five years in, the program proceeds with its 2022 cohort. From hundreds of applications, it selected 50 young professionals, entrepreneurs, nonprofit leaders, students, and activists as semi-finalists for the Young Global Changers Recoupling Award 2022.
Representing Bullyid App, Agita Pasaribu was selected as one of the semi-finalists for her work in addressing online gender-based violence in Indonesia. She brought forward the importance of online safety, access to justice, and the use of technology for social impact into broader discussions on sustainable development.
